Pendleton Pilot Rock

Wool/cotton upper. Rubber outsole. True sizing. Setting up shop in 1892, the US Rubber Company was one of the States’ first domestic rubber shoe manufacturers. Pioneering mass-production techniques we now take for granted, this lot were eventually called to kit out the U.S. military when the First World War came a’knockin’. So it’s no surprise that Pendleton, another brand with a veritable textbook of history behind them, got them to help make these Pilot Rock trabs. Combining Pendleton’s love of Native American imagery and stout fabrics with USR’s hard-wearing rubber soles, these have a real sturdiness about them not often seen in the modern age.
