Novesta Star Master

Cotton canvas upper . Vulcanised natural rubber sole . Chrome eyelets . These run a little big, consider sizing down. PETA-certified vegan. 41 = UK 7 and so on. The Star Master is a canvas pump from everyone’s favourite Slovakian footwear company, Novesta. Made in the same factory, and with the same equipment as they were back in 1939, these have a certain charm missing from most things these days. The toes are chunky, the eyelets are massive and there’s even a little sketch of an intrepid explorer on the sole, what’s not to like? Animal lovers should be pleased to hear that Novestas are now vegan too – not sure why you’d want to eat them, but we’re not ones to judge.
