‘Lux’ isn’t usually a word you’d usually associate with most hiking shoes, but then again, these Merrell Moab Mesa Luxe 1TRL aren’t most hiking shoes. The luxurious kudos here is cemented by those sumptuous suede uppers and that crisp colour – everyone knows that the most opulent hue is the shade that’s not-quite white and not-quite beige – but with those EVA midsoles and Vibram outsoles on the scene, they’re still fit for outdoor hijinks. Alright, you might be a bit stuffed if you find yourself in the boglands of Kinder Scout, but you get the picture.
